Service Technician Join Our Team as a Service Technician at Willow Ridge Apartments in Asheville, NC. Thalhimer is seeking a skilled Service Technician for this full‑time role. What You'll Do As a Service Technician, you will maintain the quality of our apartment homes, ensuring residents have a well‑maintained living environment. Your responsibilities include completing apartment work orders and turnovers, repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, and maintaining common areas, buildings, and pool facilities. Key Responsibilities Completing apartment work orders and turnovers promptly. Performing repairs and preventative maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. Assisting with the upkeep of common areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance. Demonstrating exceptional customer service in all interactions with residents and staff. Working with the team to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled efficiently and professionally. Responding to emergency maintenance requests as needed. Managing daily checklists, handling occasional tasks, and troubleshooting unexpected issues. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar field. CFC and HVAC certifications are required. Strong background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel between properties if needed. Exceptional interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for hands‑on work. Success in This Role An effective Service Technician is reliable, resourceful, and resident‑focused. You bring technical proficiency across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, respond to tasks with urgency and professionalism, stay organized, and consistently seek ways to improve the resident experience through timely, high‑quality maintenance.
