Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) - Slidell, LA

• Hours per week: 36-40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract (Travel/Per Diem options may be available)
• Licensure/Certs: Active RN license in Louisiana, BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS required
• Experience: 2+ years of ER nursing experience

Pay & Benefits

• Pay rate: $54.31/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients in a fast-paced ER environment
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and intervention
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Delegate tasks and manage team resources appropriately
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards
• Respond to urgent situations with clinical judgment and professionalism
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

What You Need
Required:

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years ER nursing experience
• BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Proficiency in computer software and healthcare applications
• Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills

Preferred:

• Additional certification in clinical specialty areas
