Montezuma Hearing Clinic (MHC) is looking for a FT Audiologist for our Farmington, NM location, San Juan Hearing Center, to join our compassionate team striving to serve our community across the Four Corners.

Pay & Benefits:

• Competitive pay starting at $90,000 and commensurate with experience

Established in 1997 by Dr. Lucia Story, MHC is a family owned local, independent, community-oriented audiology practice providing comprehensive hearing and tinnitus services to the Four Corners area of Colorado. As a leading audiology practice, our aim is to improve the quality of life through better hearing by providing an uncompromised and exceptional hearing and/or tinnitus treatment plans for each individual patient. The Audiologist will be responsible for performing comprehensive diagnostic testing, prescription hearing aid evaluation, selection & fitting, patient counseling, and follow-up care. Our clinics focus on educating and empowering our patients in being proactive participants of their hearing and cognitive health. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audiologist based in Farmington, NM. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting hearing evaluations, diagnosing auditory and balance disorders, tinnitus treatment seeolutions, fitting and dispensing hearing aids, and developing individualized treatment plans. Additional duties will include counseling patients and their families, maintaining accurate patient records, and staying current on advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in conducting hearing evaluations, audiometric testing, and diagnosing hearing and balance disorders
• Experience in fitting, programming, and adjusting hearing aids to meet specific patient needs
• Skill in patient counseling, including the ability to clearly explain diagnoses and treatment options
• Knowledge of the latest developments in hearing healthcare technology and treatment methodologies
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse age groups
• Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree required
• Current licensure to practice audiology in the state of New Mexico or eligibility for licensure
• Previous clinical experience preferred, but highly motivated recent graduates are encouraged to apply
