Project Manager

Baton Rouge, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. This is a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who excels at managing multiple projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of project execution. Essential Duties: Manage commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor services to support project schedules. Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance. Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures to maintain profitability. Manage contract administration, change orders, and project documentation. Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders. Support field operations by resolving project issues and ensuring effective communication between office and jobsite teams. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining strong client relationships. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and company objectives. Requirements/Skills: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 4 years of commercial construction project management experience. Experience managing ground-up, tenant improvement, and/or commercial renovation projects. Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and sequencing. Extensive knowledge of contract administration, change order management, and cost control. Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize competing demands and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to travel between office and construction job sites. Ability to navigate active construction sites, including climbing stairs, walking uneven terrain, and wearing required PPE. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work in both office and outdoor construction environments with varying weather conditions.
