The Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work within the hospital’s established Radiology leadership structure, collaborating with department leaders and medical staff to coordinate safe daily operations. Responsibilities may include preparing patients for examinations, handling and administering radiopharmaceuticals within applicable standards, acquiring diagnostic images, performing equipment quality control, maintaining precise documentation, following radiation-safety requirements, and helping patients understand each procedure. Close coordination with referring clinicians, nursing teams, pharmacy professionals, and fellow imaging specialists supports efficient scheduling, accurate studies, and continuity of care throughout the patient journey.
