Medical Billing Specialist

Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be an integral part of the billing department supporting the revenue cycle process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

Location: Lake Mary, FL

Pay Range: $25/hr

What's the Job?

• Manage and process client billing information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory policies
• Coordinate insurance verification and ensure clients understand their co-pay responsibilities
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resubmit rejected claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Gather and verify all necessary documentation before submitting claims for payment
• Perform customer service support by resolving billing inquiries and maintaining accurate records

What's Needed?

• Experience working with front-end rejections and claim resubmissions
• Previous experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, payers, and team members
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and billing compliance standards
