What You'll Do

Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in the Operating Room setting
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions
Assist with surgical procedures and monitor patient status throughout shifts
Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members
Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise ancillary team members when needed
Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies

What You Need

Required:

Active RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
Experience working with and maintaining confidential information in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Previous OR or surgical nursing experience
Leadership skills or experience supervising others
Basic computer skills
