We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for an exciting opportunity at Mizzou Quick Care Clinics in the Columbia, MO area. This role allows you to work independently while being supported by the University of Missouri Health Care (UMHC) Department of Family & Community Medicine. Position Highlights Work Environment: Staff a busy acute care clinic located within a retail grocery store. Patient Care: Conduct physical assessments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, treat common conditions, and prescribe medications for patients aged 24 months and older. Technology: Benefit from fully integrated medical records and paperless e-prescribing systems. Shift Clinic Hours Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Weekends & Most Holidays: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing is required. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master's program or a certificate program. Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree from an AMA accredited Physician Assistant program. Certified Nurse Practitioner with current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Missouri. Missouri RN license is also required. Must be licensed to treat infant.
