About the Opportunity – Payroll Specialist

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Nashville area seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team. You’ll play a key role in supporting employees and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities – Payroll Specialist

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for a multi-state workforce
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions and benefits
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll issues promptly
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related matters

Qualifications – Payroll Specialist

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience preferred
• Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms)
• Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
