INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER

Position Summary: 

To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform essential job duties with minimal supervision.  Must be able to perform a variety of duties including the physical and administrative task involved in storing and distributing parts and materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities are essential. Other duties may be assigned and/or applied:

·           Fill requisitions, work orders or request for materials; staging material to ensure production lines are stocked for manufacturing needs; completing all paperwork necessary for stock items issued and forwards information to Accounting and/or Inventory Control Manager (May produce “kits” for Production)

• Marks all inventory using a variety of means according to the organization’s specifications
• Organizes and maintains facility inventory for efficient material storage and handling while providing documentation to ICF
• Maintains the labeling system on each “stock” item
• Manually stocks inventory shelves with items received
• Properly stores all inventory items as per the organization’s standards
• Provides documentation to ICF on nature, quantity, value and/or location of material, supplies or equipment received, used or issued to the organization’s personnel
• Periodically auditing parts in all stock locations at the direction of Inventory Control Foreman

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time management skills
• Working knowledge of Bill of Materials
• Ability to prioritize and effective manage daily work flow
• Strong problem solving skills; good judgment abilities

Education/Experience:  

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year prior and/or related experience.

Language Ability:

• Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
• Communicate and understand job instructions, both verbally and written.

Math Ability:

• Basic mathematical computation ability (fractions, percentages, ratios, etc.).

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a variety of situations.

Computer Skills:

This job does require computer skills

• Microsoft Office
• QuickBooks
• Inventory Database

• Forklift

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
