Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible, proactive, and resourceful Assistant Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects, including renovations and new custom homes.

This role helps ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards while maintaining effective communication among clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing routine responsibilities, while adapting to ad-hoc needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Superintendent in managing all phases of construction projects.
• Coordinate project schedules and acquire material to meet schedule.
• Monitor project progress and communicate status to all invested parties.
• Maintain cleanliness of each job site, according to company standards.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, quality, safety and cleanliness compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain project records, correspondence, and documentation.
• Follow up on action items
• Help identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and regulations.
• Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a project management/construction role
• Demonstrated record of dependability
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with software tools such as Dropbox, CoConstruct or Project Management Software, Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
• Ability to work extra hours to meet schedules and client requests.
• Knowledge of safety regulations within the construction industry.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs unassisted.

Working Conditions:

This is position is in the construction field, requiring consistent attendance and interaction with colleagues, trade partners, and clients. The role also involves moderate physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling materials.
