Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing advanced care to critically ill neonates and infants, including managing respiratory support, administering medications, and performing specialized procedures such as line insertions and ventilator management. The role requires close interdisciplinary collaboration and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Education Requirements: Valid CA License, 1 year of experience in NICU required
• Location Requirements: California licensure
• Years of Experience: 1 year minimum experience required
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required Qualifications: Experience in NICU units performing procedures such as PICC insertions, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, line insertions (PICC and Umbilical), arterial line management, central line care, UAC and UVC management, ventilator management including AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP, and neonatal medication administration.
• Additional Information: The role includes managing patients with surgical diagnoses, cooling therapy, and all respiratory support modes. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretive services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
