Operations Accountant

To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for an Operations Accountant who enjoys combining hands-on accounting with operational support in a collaborative, technology-driven environment. Pittsford, NY Accounting Experienced professional full-time What can you expect in the role of Operations Accountant? Support the day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking transactions, and journal entries. Assist with account reconciliations, payroll & related administrative support. Help maintain organized records for finance and other departments while ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Work closely with the Controller and gain exposure to many aspects of finance and business operations—not just one specialty Must-haves: What you’ll need for this role? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Professional communication skills and the ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to manage multiple priorities What would be a plus in this role? Experience with ERP systems and general ledger accounting. Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, or month-end close. Knowledge of process improvement or documentation. Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, or technology companies. Familiarity with multi-company or international accounting environments.
