Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an onsite-only position located near Tacoma, WA running from September 2, 2026 through February 15, 2027. In this role, you'll work closely with about 40 students, providing assessments, therapy, and support within a collaborative school environment. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to a specialized behavior program at the elementary level.

Essential Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Washington SLP licensure, or willingness to obtain prior to start
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI, or willing to complete this requirement
• Ability to secure a Washington ESA certification
• Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 40 elementary students
• Conduct and interpret speech and language assessments
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Support the school’s established behavior program as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory guidelines
