A newly established employer-sponsored urgent care clinic in Metro Detroit is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its founding clinical team. This is an opportunity to help launch a brand-new outpatient clinic serving employees of a major organization while practicing in a collaborative, physician-supported environment. Responsibilities include: Evaluation and treatment of acute illness and injury IV therapy Wound care EKG acquisition and interpretation Medication management and onsite dispensing Drug screening Return-to-work evaluations Occupational injury management Referral coordination You’ll practice at the top of your license using established evidence-based protocols with physician consultation readily available whenever needed. Qualifications We're looking for experienced, confident clinicians who enjoy practicing independently while collaborating within a supportive team. Required Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program National certification Michigan NP or PA license (or ability to obtain) DEA registration (or ability to obtain)Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Urgent Care Family Medicine Occupational Medicine Acute Care Experience performing: Suturing Splinting IV therapy EKG interpretation BLS Certification (ACLS preferred) Employer-sponsored healthcare or Occupational Medicine experience is welcomed but not required.
