Our friendly community provides an ideal setting for both professional growth and personal life balance.**The Housing Specialist position offers...*** **Employee Assistance Program** – 24/7 counseling services, legal assistance, & financial consultation for you and your household at no cost* **All-Inclusive Employee Benefits Package** - A robust full-time employee benefits package encompassing health, dental, vision, retirement, disability, life insurance, wellness program, generous paid time off, and more* **Telemedicine** – 24/7 phone, web, or mobile app medical, behavioral health, & dermatology visits* **Career Advancement & Wage Growth** - Grow in your career with great opportunities for upward mobility and added income* **Comprehensive Training** - Learn and develop skills with our robust on-the-job training* **Workplace Culture** - An environment cultivating employee wellbeing, valuing each individual's humanity, and actively promoting healthy, joyful workforce engagement* Flexible scheduling including some evening hours* Community engagement opportunities* Direct impact on client success**Key Responsibilities:*** Coordinate and facilitate housing searches, placements, and success coaching for clients* Assess clients' housing needs, strengths, and resources to develop effective support strategies* Advocate for expanded housing resources and collaborate with community partners* Provide experiential training in self-advocacy skills and resource acquisition* Participate in clinical team meetings to contribute to client recovery planning* Monitor external services to ensure coordinated care* Maintain knowledge of community recovery resources and support systems* Ensure protection of client rights and dignity* Complete necessary documentation and reporting requirements**Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:*** Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, nursing or a closely related field* Equivalent experience may be substituted on the basis of one year for each year of required educational training with a base education of a High School Diploma or GED**Additional Qualifications:*** Must complete background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check* Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance required* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to build effective relationships with clients and community partners* Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently* Must complete all required training at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter**Physical Requirements:*** Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently* Position involves sitting most of the time with occasional walking or standing* Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shiftAs a behavioral and community mental health provider, we prioritize fostering a culture of belonging and connection within our workforce.
