This role will assist with various activities in working with the doctors and patients alike and will strive to be a positive, friendly, and professional addition to the team.Essential Job FunctionEstablish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the highest level of patient customer service is given to all patientsEducate the patients on orthodontic care and treatment practicesWork chairside with patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliancesTaking X-Rays, pictures, fabricating retainersMaintain patients' charts and transcribe the doctor notes accuratelyKeep patient rooms stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipmentBe receptive to coaching and training from doctors to better develop skillsetOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment appliances and equipment usedAction-oriented and taking initiative, being adaptive and flexible in a changing environmentUnderstand and can effectively communicate techniques utilized in the Orthodontic fieldHave excellent written and oral communication skillsCompassion and high level of service for our patients, parents, and staffIntegrity, always doing the right thingAbility to handle confidential information and protect patient confidentialityDependable, reliable to be at work when scheduledAttention to detailAble to stay organized and follow instructionProfessional manner and appearance at all timesComputer skills: Microsoft office and Web BrowserEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent1-3 Years Relative ExperienceThis position is not currently open, but we are looking to create a pool of highly interested candidates that we can reach out to when an opening does arrive.
