Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage and monitor patients with common diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infections
• Utilize the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation and care coordination
• Adhere to established patient ratios and unit protocols to ensure safe, quality care
• Float to weekend assignments as required per unit needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes across a facility offering orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and behavioral health services

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn the Paragon EHR system
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Must meet travel designation requirements (residing 60 or more miles from the facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with common Med Surg diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, hypertension, and post-fracture care
• Experience working in a Joint Commission Accredited facility or Chest Pain Center environment
