Registered Nurse (RN) - Manager, Labor and Delivery - $53-82 per hour

Registered Nurse (RN) Manager - Obstetrics Location: Cherry Valley, Massachusetts Position Summary This role provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and is responsible for managing all nursing and patient care functions within Labor and Delivery. The manager will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing practice at the unit level, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and effective resource management. Responsibilities include 24/7 oversight of assigned areas and serving as a role model and advocate for the nursing discipline. Responsibilities Maintain an active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice. Exhibit effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability, and operational expertise. Assume 24/7 responsibility for assigned unit(s) and support the CNO in delivering high‑quality patient care. Qualifications Education – Required: Bachelors degree in Nursing; preferred: Bachelors or Master’s degree. Commitment to obtain a Master’s within two years is acceptable. Experience – Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment (manager or full‑time charge nurse). Required: 2 years of Special Care Nursery experience.
