The staff provides critical care to premature and critically ill infants in Northeast Wisconsin.The unit is equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill newborns.We are seeking experienced NICU nurses for a.6 D/N Weekends position. Includes Weekend Bonus Program and Shift Differentials!Preferred candidates will have NICU or relevant high-acuity pediatric population experience.RN Responsibilities:Performs as a partner in the CHW - Fox Valley care management team. Provides coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care. Delegates patient care activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Functions within professional and hospital standards.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience); BSN preferred. A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. NRP and PALS certification within 1 year of employment. Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training is required within 90 days.Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
