Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. This position is fully onsite.

Responsibilities:

Drafting legal documents and correspondence
Maintaining files
Electronically filing documents with State and Federal courts including NJ, NY, and CT
Managing calendars
Scheduling meetings and depositions
Preparing trial documents
Corresponding with clients
Providing general administrative support

Requirements:

4+ years of recent litigation assistant experience
Experience with probate litigation preferred
Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
E-filing experience in NJ required; NY and CT is a plus
Strong MS Office knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Very organized
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience, education, and other job-related factors.
