About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (05:45 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Level III trauma center preferred; candidates with Level I & II experience accepted License: Active state or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience in a general ED combined adult and pediatric setting - Ability to manage and apply splints - Experience with mental/behavioral health conditions - Experience in starting and maintaining IVs Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages. The role requires proficiency in managing a variety of emergency conditions. Candidates must have experience in trauma care, ideally within a Level III trauma center. Responsibilities include triaging patients and providing emergency medications as needed. The nurse will be required to perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment. The nurse will work alongside interdisciplinary support staff to ensure optimal patient care. All candidates must possess the relevant certifications and demonstrate clinical competency.
