Senior Accountant

Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare monthly financial statements and various detailed analyses.Manage and perform monthly financial closings, including reconciliation of accounts.Manage, track and analyze capital investment proposals, Fixed Assets and depreciation schedulesPerform month-end reporting duties and prepare/present weekly financial performance.Assist with daily cash management reporting.Assist in Accounts payable & receivables management.Assist with the development of site-level forecasts and budgets.Facilitate customer relations with both external and internal customers.Assist with audits and lead internal control compliance.Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Special projects as assigned.Education/Skills/Experience:BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing accounting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.Full understanding of complete accounting cycle in a manufacturing environment required.Oracle ERP Experience PreferredMust be able to work in a flexible, team environment, demonstrate critical decision-making skills and have strong interpersonal and communication abilities; strong work ethic, high energy, and excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Able to function at a high level in an ambiguous environment, making critical judgments and assumptions while waiting for essential inputs.Able to demonstrate integrity and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
