Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical health assessments and screenings to identify individual patient needs and develop targeted treatment plans. Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions such as exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and rehabilitative exercises tailored to each patient’s unique recovery goals. Implement specialized therapeutic programs to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall functional ability. Educate patients on physical health strategies and the importance of integrating mental health care into their recovery process. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes and continuous improvement in patient health. Document all patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with fellow team members in case consultations and interdisciplinary meetings to provide thorough, patient-centered care. Stay current on physical therapy best practices, trends, and innovations to enhance your professional practice. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will serve in this role range from individuals recovering from physical injuries to those dealing with chronic pain and mobility limitations. Many of our patients also face concurrent mental health challenges, making it essential for you to understand the complexities of treating both physical and psychological aspects of health. Your approach will significantly impact their recovery journey and quality of life. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution. Current and valid state licensure for Physical Therapists in California. Strong clinical knowledge of physical health practices and treatment modalities. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently manage patient documentation and data. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Ability to empathize with patients while maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical practices. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Preferred Experience Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient clinical setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques. Previous work with diverse populations and a variety of age groups. Knowledge of comorbid mental health conditions affecting physical rehabilitation. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
