Senior ERP Implementation Consultant

Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Software Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for a remote role based in the United States. This position is full-time and fully remote. You'll join a collaborative consulting team focused on helping customers maximize the value of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central investment, with a particular emphasis on Finance and Accounting operations.

As a Senior Software Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will:

• Work directly with customers to implement, optimize, and support Business Central solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and troubleshoot complex system and process challenges.
• Recommend best practices and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and financial visibility.
• Focus on Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Manage multiple customer engagements and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Deliver results in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes within ERP environments.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Consumer Goods industries.
• Strong communication skills and consulting experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience implementing, supporting, or consulting on ERP solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
• Deep expertise in Business Central Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience delivering ERP projects in the Food & Beverage industry or other process-driven manufacturing and distribution environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and month-end/year-end processes.
• Experience leading workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and customer training.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing consulting role.
• Familiarity with integrations, reporting tools, and Business Central best practices.
