Provide primarily independent therapy sessions for patients diagnosed with Substance Use Disorders Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments according to clinic needs and scientific best-practice guidelines Provide individual counseling sessions as appropriate Assist with treatment planning and review progress toward treatment plan goals Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team Carry and effectively manage a patient caseload Timely and comprehensively document treatment data in the electronic patient health record Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance requirements Attend required onsite staff meetings, individual and group supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, and quarterly in-service meetings Provide occasional training and onboarding support for new Counselor I hires Provide training, onboarding, and mentorship support for new hire counselors within the site or adjacent clinics Requirements Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum independently licensed Masters degree Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly empathetic and compassionate to effectively support the recovery journey of BrightView’s patients Competent at working with a diverse population of colleagues and patients Natural problem solver, looking for solutions to best meet patient needs with a sense of urgency Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment Adaptability within a dynamic work environment Technologically capable and comfortable operating in multiple systems for communication and documentation Familiarity with MS Office software (Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.) preferred Familiarity with
