Location: Lake Success, NYHours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5pm, Friday 7am-4pm. Travel to Huntington and Rockville CentrePrimary Responsibilities:Provide high quality patient care as part of clinical teamPrepare rooms and equipment before and after proceduresVerify equipment functioning and perform safety checksMaintain disinfection of equipmentCollect and deliver specimens collected during proceduresAssist in patient intake, transport, paperwork and recordkeeping of physician observationsPlace devices to monitor vital signs on patientDistribute information regarding equipment or instruments at in-service training sessionsValidate and refresh basic professional skills through active participation at in-service trainingsProvide pre and post visit planning and patient callsPerform all other duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience.Required Qualifications:1+ years of experience working with patients1+ years of experience in a medical office1+ years of experience working with medical equipmentDriver's License and access to a reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with medical terminologyKnowledge of EMRSoft Skills:Great verbal and written communication skillsDetail orientedAbility to learn and adaptPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $24.23 per hour based on full-time employment.
