Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Providing specialized emergency nursing care in a high-volume ED setting, the RN will deliver critical patient assessments, interventions, and support. This role requires adaptability, clinical expertise, and excellent patient communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, ensuring rapid response to emergencies.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintain infection control standards and adhere to unit policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid RN licensure and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent emergency department experience.
• Possess clinical proficiency in IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKG administration.
• Exhibit active, personable traits suitable for fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Show ability to work effectively in a team, especially during weekend shifts.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital and unit-specific policies.
