Associate Quality Engineer

Associate Quality EngineerThe Associate Quality Engineer supports quality functions in the Neosho facility. This person's responsibilities includes claim investigations, product audits, supplier quality, and corrective actions. They will perform product examinations and testing to diagnose failure modes, determine root cause, and assess liability.Objectives:Conduct all work in compliance with the Newell Brands company valuesAnalyze finished goods for proper form, fit, and functionEvaluate returned goods for defects to drive corrective actionsUtilize metrics to drive efficiency and productivityCoordinate with Legal and Customer Service to address consumer issues and complaintsResponsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issuesLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product qualityManage legal claims related to product performance and consumer complaintsCreate test plans to evaluate product issuesMaintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with Legal standardsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to utilize common tools for hands-on product disassembly and testingBasic computer skills including Outlook, Office, SAP Power BI experience preferredNewell Brands and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers and comply with applicable employment laws.
