Start Date: ASAP Position: Full-Time Permanent Setting: 100% Outpatient / Clinic-Based Coverage: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM Call: Approximately 1 week per year EMR: Epic

Position Overview

• Join an established geriatric patient population in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Position is available due to physician replacement.
• Seeking a physician with a strong foundation in outpatient geriatric medicine and primary care.
• One physician needed.

Schedule & Call

• MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM.
• Beeper/phone call coverage required.
• Call responsibilities are approximately one week per year.
• Assigned call week includes after-hours and weekend coverage.

Practice Setting

• Clinic-based practice.
• 100% outpatient.
• Associated hospital is a Level I Trauma Center.

Patient Population

• Primarily geriatric patients.
• Average daily patient volume: 1618 patients.
• Management of chronic and complex conditions commonly seen in geriatric patients.
• Preventive care and chronic disease management.
• General outpatient geriatric evaluation and management.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required.
• Active Texas medical license required.
• Minimum 1 year of physician experience required.
• General outpatient geriatrics experience required.
• Active DEA.
• Local candidates preferred.
