Position Overview Job Title: Business Risk Management – Real Estate Valuation Corporate Title: Vice President Location: New York, NY Business Risk Management – Real Estate Valuation (BRM-REV) is responsible for the specification, procurement, and review of all third‑party real estate appraisal reports for Deutsche Bank’s U.S. real‑estate related business activities. BRM‑REV staffs senior valuation professionals who also perform transaction consulting and portfolio monitoring. This role supports the Bank’s real‑estate businesses in a credit‑risk‑oriented, valuation‑management, consulting, and analytical capacity. What You’ll Do Review of complex real‑estate appraisals Real‑estate valuation consulting Portfolio position reviews Adherence to regulatory and policy compliance protocols How You’ll Lead Conduct in‑depth real‑estate market analysis Manage third‑party appraisal vendors Skills You’ll Need Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) State‑licensed and certified commercial real‑estate appraiser Experience with multiple property types Experience with multiple U.S. markets Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Argus Skills That Will Help You Excel Reliable team player with a proactive "can do" attitude and strong work ethic Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills Detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external client relationships Confidence, drive, and enthusiasm Expectations Employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. Salary The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $222,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
