Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to creating an engaging, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students with a range of needs within educational settings
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and update IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and communicate effectively with caregivers and educational staff
- Participate in team meetings, providing expertise for student mobility, access, and motor skill development
- Offer support and consultation to classroom educators on adaptive strategies and equipment
