About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Ambulatory Care. The successful candidate will be a mission-driven leader responsible for the oversight of nursing care delivery, professional development, and the implementation of evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality patient care in ambulatory clinical nursing areas. This role involves close collaboration with nursing, medical, and senior leadership to drive performance improvement, enhance patient care services, and promote nursing excellence. The ACNO will also be involved in large-scale operational projects, budget preparation, and managing costs, as well as fostering a culture of evidence-based practice and clinical research. Candidates for the ACNO position must have a Master's degree in nursing or a related field, with a preference for a Doctorate. A minimum of 10 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least five years in administrative roles, is required. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to perform financial analyses, and a deep understanding of accreditation standards and compliance requirements. The ACNO will be expected to have a current RN license and may also hold advanced nursing executive certifications. The position is pivotal in ensuring the organization's values of respect, belonging, accountability, and transparency are upheld in all aspects of nursing services.
