Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse position available in Oregon City, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level II maternity unit with a Level I nursery, supporting both obstetric and neonatal patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The schedule includes nights with a 12-hour shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Oregon City, OR
• Shift Hours: 12-hour nights
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse; 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; certifications including American Women's Hospital, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Advanced, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE.
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience.
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours/week, starting from 08/03/2026.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units or nearby facilities based on unit needs.
• Additional Information: The role requires extensive expertise in labor and delivery procedures, neonatal assessment, fetal monitoring, postpartum care, and emergency obstetric interventions. Candidates should be familiar with Epic electronic medical record system and have relevant certifications. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility, and refusal to float may impact assignment continuation.
• Special Requirements: Candidates must have a vehicle for travel; must have requested all time-off and scheduling requests upfront; must be available to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
