Phlebotomist

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing at a patient service center in Baldwinsville, NY. The role involves venipuncture, capillary collection, data entry, billing, and customer service in a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
Process billing information and collect payments from patients
Prepare specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to pass color blindness screening test
Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime

Compensation: $17.75–$24.00 per hour
