Urgent Care Physician - Practice Only Four Shifts Per Month

Position: Staff Physician

Location: Los Angeles, CA

1099 Model: Part-time and PRN

Pay: $150/Hr. Plus malpractice with tail

Position Overview:

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted "Best Urgent Care" in Bakersfield, CA, for eight years. We currently have 18 clinics in Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a full-time or part-time Urgent Care Staff Physician for our new Los Angeles, CA region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Physician practices twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• PRN is four (4) shifts per month, and manages mid-level providers
• Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: We offer in-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays.
• A Board-Certified Radiologist reads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
• Completion of a formal Family Medicine Residency Program
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• DEA Certificate
