The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Material Handler/Manufacturing Associate (Kitting Production and Material Movement), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Completing manufacturing work-steps under general supervision and within the defined standards according to specifications using only the defined production aids, equipment, tooling and materials.
  • Verifying at each work-step, by utilizing appropriate tests and inspections, that the quality of all products or components produced meets clearly defined quality standards.
  • Verifying in conjunction with the Quality department, the quality of product produced prior to commencement/recommencement of production.
  • Ensuring the required levels of raw materials are maintained by controlling the appropriate Kanbans within the department.
  • Completing online documentation and highlighting deviations to appropriate people.
  • Participating in identifying, drawing attention to and resolving problems on the line as members of the department teams.
  • Ensuring that all required documentation and charts are completed correctly as per approved S.O.P.'s.
  • Following all G.M.P. procedures such as good housekeeping, hygiene and safety practices etc. as outlined by the various regulatory bodies such as FDA, ISO and Solventum Policies.
  • Ensuring that the Time Keeping and Attendance policy is observed and followed.
  • Abide by Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Policies and any relevant EHS documentation.
  • Will comply with all relevant training required and adhere to relevant associated documentation.
  • Moving materials as necessary to support production activities
  • Operating pallet jacks and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) as required by tasking
  • Assisting warehouse personnel in assigned tasks as necessary
  • Successfully demonstrating and supporting Solventum values, code of conduct & compliance.
  • Successfully demonstrating and supporting a positive safety environment.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate communication and team engagement skills.
  • Demonstrate a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Participate in daily meetings with site leadership.
  • Ability to work to set Takt rate in a fast-paced environment.

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED And up to (1) year of combined experience in manufacturing, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic assembly, warehouse environment in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with hand tools, label printers, tape dispensers, operating computers and computer aided equipment
  • Experience with powered industrial vehicles (PIV) and pallet jack.
  • Background in manufacturing electronic/mechanical/pneumatic equipment quality control production environment.
  • Strong Teamwork abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills.

Work location: Onsite - San Antonio, TX-United States

The expected compensation range for this position is $39,360 - $54,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
