Psychiatrist Position at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center

Kingsboro Psychiatric Center (KPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists for their outpatient clinics located in Canarsie, East Flatbush, and Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY.

As a Psychiatrist at KPC, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered, and recovery-focused treatments to individuals with mental health symptoms 18 years of age or older; including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and patient admissions
• Creating treatment plans including medication management
• Obtaining and reviewing appropriate laboratory tests and consulting with members of treatment team as needed
• Providing individual and group psychotherapy
• Participating in legal processes for individuals who have court ordered treatment
• Evaluating the necessity of Court Order Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT)
