Orthopedic Surgery Center of Creve Coeur – Surgical Technologist Orthopedic Surgery Center of Creve Coeur, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our esteemed team. As a Surgical Technologist you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while upholding our core values of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. The role includes preparing and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures, supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center, and participating in quality‑improvement activities. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient. Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation. Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed. Excellent team player with effective communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians.
