Environmental Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives for a leading manufacturing client. This role will assist with air, water, waste, recycling, spill prevention, radiation monitoring, and permitting programs while ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities Support environmental compliance programs related to air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, recycling, and spill prevention. Assist with environmental permitting, reporting, and recordkeeping, including Title V, RCRA, SARA, EMITS, and NSPS requirements. Help drive sustainability and decarbonization initiatives across the facility. Work with regulatory agencies, consultants, and internal teams to maintain environmental compliance. Provide environmental training and guidance to employees. Support radiation detection systems and incoming scrap inspections. Assist with implementation of continuous improvement and environmental management programs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental Health. 0–5 years of environmental experience, preferably in manufacturing or regulatory environments. Strong Excel, data analysis, organizational, and documentation skills. Working knowledge of environmental regulations including CAA, CWA, RCRA, and SARA is preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
