Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Strong experience in trauma
• Neuro experience is required
• General surgical experience is required
• Vascular and endovascular experience is required
• ENT experience is required
• Orthopedic spine experience is required
• Gynecology experience is required
• Urology experience is required
• Robotics experience for General and Neuro is required
• At least 2 years of experience required for first-time travelers

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 0830-2030
• Weekend rotation: on call
• On-call schedule for service lines except Open Heart includes one day a week from 3p-7a and one weekend a month from Friday 3p to Monday 7a
• No floating required
• Orientation includes 2 weeks on day shift with expected buddy call during orientation
