About the Position

RN – Critical Care (CCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Nights | Every Other Holiday | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care unit with a strong cardiac focus
• Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 within a 17-bed unit
• Care for occasional MICU overflow patients in addition to primary cardiac population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Must successfully complete a telemetry test on day one of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• CCRN certification
