About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Mid shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III trauma emergency department. License: Active state or Compact nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Experience in general emergency departments with adult and pediatric patients. - Ability to handle a patient ratio of 5:1. - Proficient with Meditech charting system. - Previous charge experience preferred. Description: The role involves providing care in a fast-paced emergency department. Candidates must have experience with a diverse patient population, including neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics. Duties include administering emergency medications and blood products. Candidates must be skilled in obtaining 12 lead EKGs and have experience managing behavioral health conditions. The position requires triage skills and the ability to perform procedural sedation administration. Experience with trauma patients is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is expected. Total days off during the assignment are limited.
