Driver (Part time)

Additional Information About the Role Barnes Jewish West County is seeking a part time Driver. This individual will support the lab by driving around campus in a BJC vehicle and picking up specimens from various to bring back to the lab. Schedule: Part time rotating days 7:30 AM-5 PM Thurs Fri/ Mon Tues Wed Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Operates an assigned motor vehicle for the safe and timely transportation of passengers, materials, specimens, mail, and other cargo used in the course of hospital and client business. Responsibilities Provides timely transportation, pick-up and delivery services. Ensures timely arrival and departure by following program schedule. Advises supervisor and team if unable to follow schedule.
