About the Position

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Compact License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience - Patient Ratio Experience: 4-5 Description: The Telemetry Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in need of cardiac monitoring. Candidates should have experience in managing telemetry patients with conditions such as CHF, NSTEMI, and COPD. The position requires the ability to float between units as needed. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5. Weekends are required, with a minimum of 6 shifts every 6 weeks. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring vital signs and interpreting dysrhythmias. Skills in managing cardiac drips and other telemetry-related tasks are required. Candidates should have experience with charting systems and be familiar with patient care protocols. This role entails collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
