Security Officer (Full Time/Night Shift)

What You'll Be Doing The Security Officer ensures a safe, secure healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors; as well as ensuring the protection of property from harm as a result of acts of violations of laws, policy, procedures or regulatory requirements 24 hours a day. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended offices Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes Performs unit/building clock tours daily Conducts security rounds for safety violations Reports all hazardous conditions to the proper departments Monitors cameras / alarms at command posts Investigates all (police type) incident reports Performs other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High School diploma or equivalent Ability to complete a Health Care Security and Safety Certification SORA license (preferred) With 1-2 years related experience, hospital setting (preferred) What We Offer Competitive pay
