As Hive Hospitality continues its growth across multiple markets, we are seeking a driven Restaurant Manager or high-potential Assistant General Manager ready to grow into a leadership role within the organization.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading all front-of-house operations, driving financial performance, developing team culture, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience.

This role requires an individual who is equally comfortable leading service on the floor and managing the administrative side of the business, including labor management, assisting with financial controls, recruiting, training, and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate is energetic, hands-on, hospitality-driven, and passionate about building great teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of managers, servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
• Build a culture centered on hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, and retain top hospitality talent.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and development plans.

Guest Experience

• Maintain exceptional service standards throughout every shift.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively.
• Foster meaningful guest relationships and community engagement.
• Ensure all hospitality standards align with the Hive Hospitality philosophy.

Financial Management

• Drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Manage labor budgets and scheduling.
• Monitor and control operating expenses.
• Execute action plans to improve margins and operational efficiency.

Operations

• Oversee daily restaurant operations.
• Maintain service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Partner closely with culinary and beverage leadership.
• Ensure consistency in execution across all guest touchpoints.

Administrative Excellence

• Scheduling and labor management.
• Payroll review and approval.
• Inventory oversight and cost control.
• Compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Reporting and KPI accountability.

QualificationsPreferred Experience

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Previous Restaurant Manager experience preferred.
• Fine dining, upscale casual, steakhouse, or Michelin-related experience highly valued.
• Proven success developing teams and leaders.
