Job Overview A law firm seeks a Family Law Intake Attorney in Newport Beach, CA. Listen to client concerns, assess needs, and determine case suitability. Build rapport and confidence with clients during challenging times. Explain firm services, attorney roles, and retainer requirements. Match clients with the appropriate attorney based on various factors. Coordinate strategic consultations with litigators as needed. Follow up with prospective clients and guide them through engagement. Oversee initial onboarding and ensure a smooth transition to litigation. Requirements Active California Bar license. Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, polished, and confident presence. Strong judgment and ability to understand complex situations quickly. Highly responsive, organized, and accountable. Comfortable discussing fees and guiding client decisions. Motivated by goals and performance. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California Bar license. Skills Family law experience preferred. Client intake, business development, or sales experience preferred.
