Truck Driver, CDL Class A – Local Home Daily – Intermodal Vision Truck Line is seeking experienced truck drivers for local, home daily intermodal assignments in the Chicago, IL area. The role requires driving a Class A tractor‑trailer on local routes with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, morning and evening shifts. This is a no‑touch freight position. Compensation $1,150 to $1,350 per week. Schedule Local routes – schedule: Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, morning and evening shifts. Vehicle & Equipment Automated transmission, GPS‑tracked, and compliant with the Air Resources Board. Drug Test Hair test required. Moving Violations No more than 1 on‑road or DOT‑preventable loss in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years (e.g., jackknife, overturn). No more than 3 preventable incidents in the past 2 years. Combination of all preventable accidents and incidents in the last 2 years may not exceed 3. All at‑fault rear-end accidents are a 1‑year DQ. No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years while holding a CDL‑A or commercial learner’s permit. No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years if the offense occurred prior to obtaining a CDL‑A or commercial learner’s permit. No multiple DUI/DWI offenses. No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle. Automatic DQ’s: recent at‑fault rollover in the past year and no failed DOT alcohol/drug test lifetime.
