Furnace Tender
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in the Lake Odessa area within the metals recycling industry.
Furnace Tender Job Summary:
* $18.00 per hour
* 6AM-6PM
* 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.
* Operation of Front-End Loaders/Skid Steer loaders/Forklifts for loading, unloading and maintaining operations of aluminum melting processes.
* Testing of Material for proper quality standards
* Attention for safety.
Furnace Tender Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED; preferred.
* Manufacturing experience of at least 1 year.
* Mechanically inclined.
* Work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to withstand being close to furnace for short periods of time.
* Ability to lift maximum of 50# throughout shift.
* Experience with loader equipment.
